Community Clean Up


Twice a year the City of Henderson, in partnership with Republic Services and Keep Henderson Beautiful proudly offers our Citizens an opportunity to clear away or recycle unwanted items. 


WHERE: 1203 Highland Dr. (Public Services Warehouse)

DATE AND TIME: TBD 2025 | 8am to 5pm


WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT FROM CITY RESIDENTS ONLY: 

  • Rimless standard vehicle tires 
  • Construction debris
  • Brush
  • Lawn clippings
  • Limbs
  • Electronics 
  • Household appliances

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT: 

  • Batteries
  • Oils
  • Wet paint
  • Human/animal waste 
  • Other hazardous chemicals

THE RECYCLE CENTER WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS


ACCEPTED: 

  • Cardboard
  • Newspaper
  • Magazines and junk mail
  • Phone books
  • Aluminum and tin cans
  • Medicine, dish soap, shampoo and lotion bottles. 

Look for the number inside the recycle symbol: if it's a 1 or 2 we can recycle it here. 

PLEASE CAREFULLY RINSE ALL BOTTLES. 

NOT ACCEPTED: 

  • Glass
  • Dirty or soiled food containers
  • Plastic grocery bags
