The Water Treatment Plant and Water Production Division operate both groundwater and surface water treatment facilities by controlling the intake, treatment, storage and distribution of water.
The treatment facility maintains water quality through laboratory analysis. Additionally, the City of Henderson ensures an adequate supply of drinking water, maintains acceptable water pressure and volume for fire protection, and operates the treatment facility in the most efficient and cost-effective manner; while ensuring all “Safe Drinking Water Act” regulations are met.
