The City Managers Newsletter is a publication delivered to city employees, residents, businesses, and any individual signed up to receive up-to-date and relevant information regarding the inner workings and upcoming activities within the City of Henderson.

- Heritage Syrup Festival – Henderson annual Syrup Festival is November 12th, located in Historic Downtown Henderson and Depot Museum.
- City of Henderson Canned Food Challenge – Citizens and City employees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food to new City Hall the week of November 14th. One lucky citizen and one City employee will be randomly chosen to win a prize. All donations will benefit the Henderson Food Bank.
- Veterans Day – Veterans Day is Friday, November 11th. City Buildings will be closed.
- November Council Meeting – The Cities Council Meeting is November 15th at 5:00pm. Refreshments available to celebrate Michael Searcy’s 4 years of service to the City as District 2 Council member.
- Thanksgiving Closures – City buildings will be closed November 25th and 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday.
- Christmas Parade – December 1st: More details will follow soon.

- The City’s construction team is approximately 30% complete on the installation of proper roof skylight panels at the new City Hall. There are a total of 122 panels to replace.
- New AC equipment was put in on 11/2/22 to ensure adequate comfort to all who visit the new building.
- Henderson Police Department and Henderson Fire Department received new handheld public safety radios that allow for higher quality and better communication.
