[ARCHIVED] City Cleanup Day

Residents are encouraged to bring discarded items to the city warehouse at 1203 Highland Drive between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.

The service is free and residents can make as many trips as necessary on both days.

Residents will be responsible for unloading items when they arrive at the warehouse.

No hazardous materials, including all liquids, batteries, tires and appliances with refrigerants, will be accepted.

To discard items at the warehouse, residents must show proof of residency inside Henderson city limits. Acceptable proof includes utility bills or a driver's license.

Questions about Cleanup Day events at the city warehouse should be directed to Duncan at (903) 646-0740. Trash pickup day information is available from Leon Harris at (903) 658-3216.

The City wide Cleanup is sponsored by the City of Henderson and Keep Henderson Beautiful.
