The Code Enforcement Division of the City of Henderson desires to have a positive impact on the city and improve the quality of life of each resident in the community. The Code Enforcement Division strives to be proactive in its enforcement while also taking direct complaints from citizens. Their desire is to achieve these objectives through a professional attitude and positive interaction with the citizens. Code Enforcement will respond promptly to all reported violations, educate the public on nuisance ordinances, and continue to provide quality service to the community.

  • Mosquito control – stagnant water 
  • Parking in yards 
  • Illegal dumping 
  • Residential off street parking 
  • Over-hanging limbs in alleys and streets 
  • Substandard, dangerous, and abandoned structures 
  • House numbering 
  • Dilapidated fences or arbors 
  • Appliances left outside 
  • Home-based business concerns
