The Henderson Police Department is “paramilitary” meaning it has a rank structure and a specific chain of command. The current administration is:

Ronnie Walker - Chief of Police

James Pierson – Deputy Chief of Police

Divisions:

The department has a patrol division, a criminal investigations division and a traffic enforcement division. Within Henderson PD, there is also a tactical unit and a color/honor guard. The department has 5 TCLEOSE certified instructors included within all divisions and conducts a substantial portion of required in-service classes “in-house”.
