The Rusk County Courthouse is a large four-storied structure with art deco revival stylistic features. Built in 1928, the building is a prominent physical, social, and political landmark in the community. The courthouse can be seen from the center of the city of Henderson, which is the central area of the county. An imposing bronze statue of Thomas Jefferson Rusk sits on a high granite pedestal and provides a vertical contrast to the horizontal courthouse.
The Courthouse is located at 115 N. Main Street and may be reached at (903)657-0302 or visit their website
