Facility Overview

A World War II T-33 trainer aircraft, which serves as a memorial to all veterans, marks the entrance of the Rusk Count Youth Expo Center.  The county owned facility/event center is one of the finest of its kind in the state.  The $3.2 million Rusk County Expo Center was completed in 1995 as a complement to the existing air-conditioned Ag Center.  In 2017 the Center was completely renovated for $3.5 million due to a tornado that caused major damage.  

The Expo Center has 100,000 square feet under roof with a seating capacity of 4,700.  This event center also includes an ag barn with 32 stalls allows overnight accommodations for horses.

This popular event center includes the Tommy McDaniel Exhibit Hall and the Phillip Davis Memorial Arena.  The Center hosts many events which include:  Equine, Agricultural, Rodeo's, Community Activities, Group Meetings, Cattle Sales, Team Penning, Cutting Horse Competitions, Goat Shows, Antique Tractor Show, Auto and Recreation Shows.

The Center is located at 3303 FM 13 W. just off Loop 571 and is adjacent to the Rusk County Airport.
